Acqua alta and tourists are not your Slack window. The polite window around Mestre offices is 09:00–18:00 local. Treat overtime glow as scenery, not consent. Venice still shifts with daylight saving (UTC+1 in January, UTC+2 in July). Midwinter sunsets still arrive before dinner, which makes late Slack feel later than the clock.
